Oy Apotti Ab

Oy Apotti Ab was established thanks to the shared will of the municipalities and HUS to build a shared information and operations management system for social services and healthcare. The shared system enables the customer-oriented and cost-effective development of shared operating methods.

One of the significant duties of Oy Apotti AB is to acquire a shared client and patient information system as the operations management system of social services and healthcare. We take part in building the world’s first information system that integrates social services and healthcare services; for employees it is a tool of the future for helping clients and patients, for residents it facilitates self-care and life management.

The parties participating in Apotti are Helsinki, Vantaa, Kirkkonummi, Kauniainen and the Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa (HUS). The other HUS-district municipalities can also participate in the project via the procurement company KL-Kuntahankinnat Oy.

The purpose of Oy Ab's operations

The purpose of Oy Apotti Ab’s operations is to:

  • Enable continuous measurement and development of social and healthcare services
  • Acquire and deliver an internationally high-grade client and patient information system for its owners
  • Produce the continuous high-quality services of the system in its entirety as well as their further development and information system services to support its owners’ social and healthcare services at cost price
  • Promote the digitalisation of the social and healthcare services of its owners through the Apotti system
